Techtextil Around the World
Techtextil and Avantex
International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens
and International Forum for Innovative Apparel Textiles
Frankfurt am Main, 12-14 June 2007
With over 1,000 companies from 41 countries having registered for Techtextil by mid of March, the outlook is for further expansion. This figure includes the participants of the 14 national participations – from Belgium, Canada, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Spain, South Africa, Taiwan and the USA.
Thus, the International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, which will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 12 to 14 June 2007, looks ready to break the previous records set in 2005. At Techtextil 2005, 1,074 exhibitors from 47 countries presented their latest products, developments and trends from the broad spectrum of applications for technical textiles to 19,650 trade visitors from 70 countries (plus over 2,000 visitors of Avantex).
"Great interest is being shown in Avantex. Experience shows that most Avantex exhibitors register almost at the last moment so we are confident of achieving the results of the last event or even bettering them", explains Michael Jänecke, Brand Manager, Techtextil and Avantex, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. The last International Forum for Innovative Apparel Textiles attracted 42 exhibitors from ten countries and 2,086 visitors from 46 nations. At present, registrations have been received from 30 exhibitors from nine countries.
Techtextil exhibitors occupy Halls 3.0, 3.1 and 4.1 while the Avantex area is integrated into Hall 3.1. Registration is still possible.
To be held in the Congress Centre Messe Frankfurt, the 14th Techtextil Symposium and the 4th Avantex Symposium offer lectures, presentations and discussion forums for suppliers, users and experts from research, technology and industry. The program will be available on the internet by the end of March.
The next Techtextil show is Techtextil Rossija in Moscow, which has been moved to May (29-31 May 2007) and will take place parallel to Telogreyka and the International Industrial Week in the interests of greater synergies for both exhibitors and visitors.
